Ms. JYOTI HEJIB

 

Asst Prof. Jyoti A. Sutane is faculty in Department of Painting. She completed A.T.D. in year 2000, B. F. A. Drawing and Painting in 2005 from Govt. Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur and M. F. A. Creative Painting in 2007 from Nagpur University. She has done Computer Graphics and Arts Diploma CDAC, GIST Nagpur in 2000. Her style of work is abstract and illustrative at the same time. Textures are an important element in her paintings. Her palette mostly contains tertiary colours with ornamental gold and antique finish. Her paintings appear static and freezed.

She organised many children art and craft workshops with Camlin India as an official tutor. She participated and worked as resource person in Basoli group projects. She has curated ‘Round Expression’ an exhibition of paintings in 2008,’Square Impressions’ an exhibition of paintings in 2009,’CHITRANJALI’ an exhibition of paintings at Shantiniketan in 2009 and 2010 at Nagpur.

She is presently working in Department of Painting since 2007.
